Because literally NO ONE is talking about this s***. A Jay elec ALBUM with Jay-z rapping like X fresh out the pen. Only niggas I’ve seen still talking about it are the Hoteps and the (White)Demons looking for Anti-Semitic lyrics.

Not really the 28-35 crowd loves this.

  • Jul 30, 2020

    maybe if you’re under 18

Jay sabotaged his own album by waiting 18 years to put something out and then adding Jay-Z to it who then proceeded to renegade him throughout the project

i feel like not marketing it as a collab album (which it is) was a huge misstep.

musically it was cool but hov was rapping circles around him. either way it wasn't gonna be a chart topper, its not that type of music. as long as the community of hip-hop heads dig it thats all that matters

I think we all got over that initial thing and now f***ing love it. Great replay value. And they made 8 new songs in 40 days? Pretty dope.

Poor rollout by Roc Nation ruined this album's impact:

No interviews- Angela YEE is one of his closest friends and he wasn't on the TBC, wtf

Roc Nation and TIDAL are intertwined, Tidal didn't do much to highlight this album

No documentary- he's one of the most interesting rappers ever and has been gone a decade, it would.be been nice to see some behind the scenes s***

    Sonically:

The headphone mix is good, but the car mix is garbage

    No JUST BLAZE

    Flux Capacitor is horrible

Shiny suit is nearly a decade old, never should of made the album.

And Jay Elec didn't rap enough on this album for a guy who's been MIA

With that being said this album is still in my top 10 albums this year, it just could've did so much more.

Great album but dropped at a bad time

  • Jul 30, 2020
