I think we all got over that initial thing and now f***ing love it. Great replay value. And they made 8 new songs in 40 days? Pretty dope.

You can’t tell the story of Jay Elect without including his mysterious hiatus he hasn’t put anything out in over 10 years in terms of some sort of official body of work. It’s impossible for me to listen to this without that context because it’s now a part of his lure. To be gone for that long and come back with what is essentially a spare of the moment collab project and reduce the last 10 years down to just 1 line is simply well short of any expectation I think anyone could’ve possibly had for him post act 3. All power to anyone who enjoys it but this nigga is damn near 50 and he’s given us no reason to think he’s gonna put out another project any time soon so yeah, it is what it is.

You all let jay e put a 10 year old song on a new album and get away with it lmao. This was half assed

  • It’s not really an album you’d expect to ring off anyway.

Imagine stanning this anti semitic degenerate

That's why I dislike the project.

That's not who Jay was when I became a fan of his music. He was this wisened nomadic wizard and they've stripped the magic from his lyrics and replaced it with an agenda.

Elec was always afrocentric in his viewpoints and used a lot of esoteric terminology as well as references to all types of religions but the songs on AWT seemed more focused on specific points

I still think this is the most disappointing album of the past 10 years. I mean it’s just not very good y’all don’t need to keep defending it

  • Jul 30, 2020

Do niggas really think age dictates the kind of music you listen to in real life? Lmfao

Yeah I feel like he mainly dropped this album to promote NOI

Same way Ye dropped JIK and JIB to "spread God" or whatever.

    He has changed. Went from
"But what does it mean if I'm a Muslim and you a Jew
And because of that alone we don't get along"

    To this Farrakhan puppet s***.

I feel you for real and I can tell you were following and watching closely and yeah that’s disappointing.

But songs like never ending story, flux capacitor, fruits, apidta are some of the only new rap songs I liked this year maybe I’m just old but idk

They are cool songs musically, but Jay is a horrible person

    dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-5775401/TALK-TOWN-Kate-Rothschilds-rapper-ex-boyfriend-asked-wasted-teeth-knocked-out.html

If Jay really was incensed by Kate’s post, he may have had the wrong end of the stick, given that Blasberg, pictured below, is known to be gay.

    What an idiot 😂😂😂

And then the same dude tries to act like he's the smartest person in the world in his raps and on social media

    @DAVIDP f*** Jay Asstronica

And never forget this crackhead tier rant

"Look, I like the one Kendrick song with Gunplay, 'Cartoon & Cereal,' but other than that we don’t know what nigga talking about," Electronica said. He later added to the topic after one of his fans had some harsh words for Cornrow Kenny. "Don’t say f*** Kendrick, that’s still our brother,” the rapper states. And moving further into the clip (at the 12:40-mark), he brings up Lamar again adding, "Kendrick is my son, Kendrick is my baby, Kendrick wishes he could be me."

But the even more head-turning revelation are his thoughts and threats to Fif. "50 Cent at once, he was a good rapper," Electronica notes at the 12-minute-mark. "Right now he got the potential to be a rapper but he’s on some sucker s***…and we will slap 50 Cent’s eyeballs loose out his scalp.”

Jay sabotaged his own album by waiting 18 years to put something out and then adding Jay-Z to it who then proceeded to renegade him throughout the project

    spot on
