It’s definitely a moral failing but I still believe to this day f*** corporations and get yours. My spirit won’t allow me to do it anymore personally so I’m out of that game.

That being said once I realized as a teen that I could just steal s*** I was like did it with DVD’s mostly, until I got caught trying to take a copy of The Expendables 2 lmao. The embarrassment of that kept me off it for a while until I started doing d****. X**** REALLY woke up the shoplifting habit lol.

Eventually I got caught trying to steal a bunch of designer s*** from Barney’s on Rodeo and caught a felony case. Now I just don’t do it as a sober person because I’m big on just staying right with God

Yes used to steal candy after school all the time freshman year of hs just for the “rush” of not getting caught and then the reward of the candy Lmaoo used to look forward to it but stopped when I heard stories of people getting caught and realized that was f***in stupid

I feel you, but hypothetically if you suddenly found out that god didn’t exist, would continue to do good or would you say f*** it since you don’t have nobody judging you after you die?

My point is you have to be a good person for you not just to get into a heaven that may not even exist. Do it for you.

I don’t care whether God is real or not today. Hell, if I sit down and really think about it and look around me it feels like there’s less evidence of him being real than not real. I personally need one because without a willingness to believe in that I wouldn’t be sober today, which is my #1 priority now.

All this to say I don’t believe in God out of fear of hell or some s***. D**** were killing me and the AA program was/is the only thing that has had a lasting effect on me in terms of getting/staying sober. The fact that I don’t feel comfortable doing s*** like shoplifting is just a byproduct of that, not out of some BS moral code I have lol

Back when kmarts were still a thing and I had an ipod touch, I’d go in and just take cases for it. I’d just go in the bathroom and take them out of their packaging
