Just advanced till when beat the spider boss and yeah the game its actually more darker than one would imagine. Also the art style is beautiful af

Now that i played more, this game is 100% influentiated by Shin Megami Tensei, and specially by the Devil Survivor games (goated games specially the first one)

Between the focus on characters, the similarities in the combat style, smaller details like the free battles (literally called free battles in Devil Survivor too), affinities, and more things... You could of told me this was a crossover between the series and i would of believed it

Spot on review. I've seen a lot of people compare it to devil survivor. I hear that game is dope af so I see why people are praising Digimon survive.

Pretty much can see the comparison between the kids. I'm guess the first playthrough you're suppose to experience the game as if it's real kids that got sucked into a strange world. The anxiety and feat certain characters get are exactly how a 14-16 year old would behave.

I assume the 4th true route is the true anime like route

Nah dying in battles aren't Perma death. I'm on my second playthrough now doing a wrath run. Feel terrible being mean to everyone except Shuuji

Yo the music in this game is amazing. The intense music when something bad is about to happen is so unsettling. Makes everything 10x worst.

how long is survive?

80 to 100 hours as it's 4 different paths that each have affect on the story. You can also rush through the game though and probably beat it in 20-30 hours.

Nah in the first playthrough you can't save two specific characters regardless. You can save them in the second playthrough to get the true ending. Wait until you get to chapter 5
