Teal_it's crazy how similar your taste is to mine
i hate the fact that hov didn't use that premo beat on himself. memphis did nothing to prove his case with it and hov is a f***in fool for trying to make it seem like bleek was the better version of himself. When it comes to style and flavor, I'm a new yorker at heart. Give me some jazz / soul samples over dusty drums and I'm happy. Not saying Hov needs to rap over that but my Top 5 on Dynasty are Intro, This Can't Be Life, Stick 2 the Script, Soon You'll Understand and Where Have You Been. If he would've rapped more over that style of production this album could've been one of my favsOh s***, forgot about stick to the script! They call me William H
but yeah it had potential to be one of his best if not for him cramming it full of s***ty feats like bleek and amil. Beans and hov though

Dude was so caught up in the streets to truly give us the masterpiece that he was capable of delivering. My fav Beans album was B. I like The Truth the most. His most raw and unfiltered album. It wasn't polished at all, he just rapped from the heart.
Die, Everybody Wanna Be A Star, Who Want What, What Ya Life Like, Ride 4 My Niggaz, are his best songs and they aren't even hits.

without the mafioso luxurious persona, roc enterprises, Beyonce, Kanye, corporate partnerships and money, Jay-Z is a snooze fest. don't act as if you'd put up with Jay Z if he had 40k fans for the entirety of his career
