I thought the album was cool. Neither amazing nor trash.
But I have a question: Is there anything Drake can do that won't be met with some level of backlash?
I mean...Niggas criticized Drake for not pushing the envelop and now it's a problem when he finally does it?
S*** like this makes me realize that, even if Drake were to release a conscious/pro-Black album like some people claim they want from him, he'll get accused of being a vulture/bi-Racial who can't relate/Canadian who can't relate/copying Kendrick/hopping on a wave/etc.
Even more ironic was that there was a plat thread on here complaining about how hip hop today has no danceable music lol.
If Drake were to make a pro black album it would be nasty work from the internet

Funny thing is niggas on KTT will call MMTBS and this album trash for not being flawless while Lil Baby's next album will be called an instant classic based on hype.

Jun 18, 2022Wasn’t drake on this sound back when I was in high school in like 2017 ? Even if this album was timed cynically it’s still s*** he’s interested in and cares about; also, doubt this album will be well liked by the general audience. Don’t think he’ll benefit much from this one.
