I had to zoom in and I still have zero Idea how you even attached the design. Holy s*** that is amazing
thanks bro. its a technique called needleturn applique. it hides the stitches and gives it a nice puffy look
its pretty time consuming tho ngl
You can modify the sole on shoes and its actually pretty easy. These are some of my first attempts. I'm going to play around for a bit with this but I think it has mad potential

Looks insane. Can’t wait to see what you come up with

The right pair is hard. How do you like weldwood though? I tried it cause I read on some forum that it was better than barge infinity and I was massively disappointed in it.

I had zero issues with it tbh. Worked perfectly for me
Bunch of prototypes i made last year, some details you can't see from this pic that are on the back or inside. Can't believe I gave up. Gotta get back to it.
anyone have tips on making a DIY version of this bag?

Would it be 3 pieces of fabric? Two sides + the bottom? Or just two pieces?

my instant reaction is its made of 3 pieces. two triangles for the bag handles and one rectangle that is uniquely folded into the bottom piece

That’s what I was thinking too, gonna try to find a cheap sewing machine and make this. Would be a fun project while I’m stuck in lockdown
Thinking about making these by dying some blue hickory stripe stan rays.
Has anybody in here ever dyed pants before?

yea i've dyed a bunch of things before, the thing with dye is its really hard to predict what the outcome will look like before you do it.
you will probably have to experiment a bit
@GODFLOW
Oh s*** my bad
Tried sashiko mending for the first time to patch my jeans, pretty happy with the outcome

Thanks bro, this is main video that helped but theres a ton of others out there that are more in depth and show other styles
small DIYs
summer shirt jacket
spliced hoodie
heavily darted denim jacket. Fit went from oversized to like a cropped modern levi trucket jacket
Failed bleached pants. They are levis I downsized with an initial 36 inch which i made to a 30 inch waist to to give them a super wide fit
A year later and this still crazy esp the spliced hoodie
Messed around with some natural dyes. Did this yesterday with an old shirt and 3 avocado pits. Gotta rinse a couple of times to see just how much dye sticks, and then will try out other tannins/more deliberate patterns
How has the dye job held up a year later?
Forgot all about this and thought the shirt in WDYWT was your first go at this
