In the rap world, though, it ain't that different. You're ability to sell out arenas will depend on how well your performances are, how much hits you have, and how strong your fanbase is regardless of race. Kendrick's DAMN tour was selling out like crazy worldwide from an album where he called himself an Israelite and showed pride in his blackness lmao.
Ain’t no rapper selling out arenas without cross over appeal. Kendrick crossed over during DAMN. Nigga was performing with Imagine Dragons n s*** or whatever they’re called.

Drake is an anomaly and stands alone at this point, so he’s whatever.
J Cole I guess could be considered the “purest” rapper in regards to his music carrying over and being able to sell out arenas. I’ve never really seen white J Cole fans like that. Women claim to love him though.
