Lmao hardly anyone dances anyway, just bunch of folks hunched together and doing some half assed “dancing”
The real dances happens at our weddings
Yeah I agree but I was even thinking more mainstream stuff from female rappers doesn't get enough play. And I think it's because the DJ scene is male dominated and they're just not thinking about it.
Like if you're a club DJ every 3rd song should be a Cardi Meg, Doja, Nicki or Latto song. That'll get the women on the floor and the men follow
This big facts but also no. You'd be surprised lol.
It’s pickin season for guys who know how to dance. Some guys roll 5 deep just to sit around one bottle
Girl, you looks good, won't you back that azz up
dog, as a nigga from the south it's crazy to see how little reaction back dat azz up gets up here lol
Drake lowkey part of (not saying he the only one BY FAR, it's just what is popular rn) the problem
@Bow_And_Arrow like up here, you get more energy from playing dancehall and afrobeat.
Those clubs are honestly where most of the dancing happens these days.

You talk about 10 years ago but US mainstream music has always been slow, 10 years ago was an anomaly, now it's back to the norm
US mainstream music only got more electronic and faster again when all the European producers influenced you guys or produced your hits in the late 2000s
Now it feels like we are back in the mid-2000s era of slow songs
I think that people that want to dance, they're not going to go to a typical club. They're going to go to an EDM club or somewhere where you can dance. The club dancing scene has shifted because of festivals as well as the myriad of genres that people listen to. Clubs are more of a social drinking place now.
I completely agree 100%
Lotta new s*** poppin just isn’t danceable. Lotta low energy s***
Downers are the d*** of choice in a fast paced society, so it makes sense
Sounds like society has become more atomized and class has become more stratified and wealth more concentrated. What could be causing this @Scratchin_Bandit
My first thought listening to Leikeli47's new album.
That's a f***ing fire dance album.
She dropped? Lemme tap in

The tendency of the falling rate of profit (as predicted by Marx in Das Kapital Volume 3) means clubs have to cater more to the VIP experience rather than the average customer in hopes of offsetting the shrinking popularity in club entertainment, threatened by digital entertainment

Wealth inequality is higher in the USA thus there is more incentive to disregard the average customer who tends to be much poorer
In the Netherlands the average customer has more money relatively speaking
I can't dance I just move my head to the beat
Thats why we are rap fans

Netherlands gotta focus on making eye contact before they can dance together
