True. It's one of those tail end of tech ideas that can't really apply when society collapses like gardening or making clothes.
and again, if said individual has better skills in games than anything else useful yes that’s a issue but in most cases gaming is just the most relaxing hobby.
Also, why is it any of his business what people decide to do with their free time? Twitter has people all f***ed up where they feel they need to comment and project their ideals onto others, which would be cool if it didn’t come off so condescending

I agree, I was just seeing his side on how a lot of people think. I think we as a society should move to having hobbies be relaxing again and not used to survive.
i think playing video games for a SHORTER period of time is depression. as a kid i could do like 12 hour COD sessions or random s*** now after like an hour unless the game is really good i get burnt out / hate it and wanna be on my phone

A major sign of depression is no longer enjoying hobbies like you used to.
mans asked about top 100 greatest moments of our lives as if we're complex magazine

gaming go hard, one of my favorite art forms. i love it way too much to monetize it and turn it into a career. i've heard from many (NOT ALL) successful content creators and streamers they eventually fell out of love with gaming itself and purely game for everything else, that sounds depressing as f***. i wouldn't risk that at all.
whatever happened to enjoying hobbies out of love? people think since you can turn it into a career that you should? or that everybody makes it for that matter? nobody plays for just an hour or so a day, btw, that's nothing especially if you play multiplayer games
with that said i done put 50+ hours into bloodborne bouta put 50+ more on a bl4 run
and i'm enjoying the f*** outta myself
Why do so many mfs hate games? Just an oldhead thing? Niggas think they better cause they don’t play games?

most streamers grind the same game to the point where they hate said game and others.
Variety streamers are eating they LOVE the s***
if playing a certain game or having a moment with one isn’t in top 100 moments, you’re playing the wrong damn games lmao

Gaming is becoming mainstream like rap and boomers don’t know how to cope.
It's a dumbass take and that s*** just applies to Vlad's own depression lmao.
Someone playing games for hours no different than someone binging TV, social media, movies, reading books, or listening music for hours. By vlad's logic it's not a hobby or a form of entertainment that's all depression.
Or that only applies to gaming for some odd reason
People say s*** like this but then lounge and watch Netflix literally the moment they get home to when they go to bed, and on days off do only that

key difference, gamers dont leave their house
Don’t play games often but my first play through of Red Dead had me crying a few times ngl. Probably one of my favorite entertainment experience in recent years
