Video games are also very distinct from regular hobbies. They are generally designed to have as little friction and as much user optimization as possible.
There are definitely some very complex, difficult games but generally physical hobbies are on a completely different plane of challenge and reward.
i feel like video games activate the same parts of your brain that physical activities do. so they can translate but it depends what games your playing

The problem with this is that while it may win an internet argument thru word tricks, in real life deep down I think we all know that isn’t the same as experiences in real time face to face but I guess that’s as true as those types of interactions are fulfilling to you
But there is a grey area if you mean physically with more than one person in the room for example some of my fondest memories are being a little kid playing PS2 with my friends. But I think Vlad moreso has individual online gaming in mind
