yeah man I don't know what else to tell you, if you don't want to be looked after by other people and not be fully in control of your own life then there are certain things you need to do. part of becoming a responsible, mature adult is being able to do certain things even if you don't want to. you never have to lose your childish spirit but becoming a mature and responsible person is a must if you don't want to live a miserable life

you don't NEED to buy a house, but of course you have to eventually find a place to live and be responsible for keeping it tidy, paying bills, helping to maintain it, etc
