You don’t have to make beats to be a producer, but a beat maker is automatically a producer.

Being a part of the creative process and making decisions about how the song will sound and be arranged is what a producer does. Beyoncé has always been heavily involved with her songs and they’re not sounding like they do without her

I see SZAs lyrics in women I’ve dated. Plus men got insecurities too, just because she’s a women doesn’t mean men can’t relate. We get jealous too or whatever.

A lot of Beyoncé’s music is on some drag queen diva type s***. She’s talented, but as a straight man I can’t rock with it. Maybe some songs like Drunk In Love, but that’s it.

• the same traits you attribute to SZA’s music can be applied to Beyoncé’s music in general when it comes to albums ..for every female empowerment anthem there’s 10 Love Droughts or Pray You Catch that involve every positive you gave SZA. Beyonce is also more universal for both genders when it comes to Romantic love and even family ..legacy. Just deeper themes in general. It goes beyond the ‘side-piece therapy session’ SZA gives ..beautiful side-piece therapy session migh I add lol

• It’s easier to just say that her lead singles turns you off (being more feminine) from actually listening through her catalog for yourself.. the music is good.. she’s overrated as most stars of her caliber are, but most of the respect her music receives is warranted. to imply that the bulk of her music is somehow emasculating where your alternative, SZA, requires you to actually say outta your mouth “Lie to me and say my booty getting bigger even if it ain't” is something lol.. but cook, my guy!
