most of the time artists will release their best music i appreciate a lot if these leaks but i can hear why they stayed unreleased

i do think a lot of drake leaks from 18-20 were better than a good amount of what ended on CLB but that’s more of an anomaly

It's been this way forever lol. Its kinda like having something you werent supposed to have. And the feeling of "man this woulda been a hit if it was released officially" and s*** like that which causes people to value the song more.

Every artist that gets their music leaked on a somewhat semi-regular basis has leaked songs that can s*** on their album material

Juice WRLD, Trippie, YoungBoy, Yeat, Lil Wayne, Carti, etc. all have leaked songs much better than songs on their albums

doesn’t seem like the fans overvalue leaks. it’s the artist/labels undervaluing them. if fans flock toward a snippet or leak why not capitalize on that?
