Smacked VoodooAt times yes, but sometimes...a lot of times, unreleased tracks are very good. Some of the best tracks I've heard from Isaiah Rashad, ASAP Rocky, Robb Banks, Earl Sweatshirt, and Danny Brown to name a handful of artists have been unreleased tracks.

Would you say that there could be an advantage to leaving some songs in that unmixed and unmastered state, to preserve the rattle, or do you think all songs should be cleaned updepends on the artist and song. sometimes a not clean mix is really cool i don’t think for instance dean blunt or mach hommy music hits the same if the mixes weren’t as rough but sometimes it’s better off to have a proper mix if it calls for it

Yeah, I think that’s a good attitude to have.
Just feel out what works best for the song, then try to give it what’s best for it to the best of your ability
