I have these phases that come and go, where Islam becomes a very powerful and nuanced idealogy/belief system that I subscribed to. I took Shahada, my father is a devout muslim and I guess his dedication, clear sightedness and love for Islam is appealing to me, as well as other muslims I know or have come in contact with.
But as I read the Quran, Bible any religious text it never answers my questions and leaves me confused. I see the world in a very scientific way, so the Abrahamic belief system makes no sense to me.
At the end of the day, I think the miracle of life is worth appreciating and religion can capture the essence of appreciation.
Right. Idk what sect you are. But I was a confirmed catholic, had my doubts once I reached middle school and gave it up in highschool. It's scary to think one day you might just not exist, but that is a question every race since advanced cavillations has asked and likely hasn't gotten right. If anything we should believe the older religions, but we don't for some reason and make what they believe into blockbuster summer movies.
Both fear and faith are two of the easiest human traits to exploit
I dont think anyone will get it right and I don’t think the human mind is equipped to get it right.
learned not to question man but to pray to God for answers. That "blind faith" per se, has really helped answer questions about this world.

Right, I just think religion is not something worth believing in.

I agree within my own beliefs but I do think worth is subjective. I cant think for anyone else as each human mind has a completely unique experience and perspective on life
A lot of my problems with religion are organization based and are associated with not respecting other beliefs especially between religions. But completely shutting my ears to its significance to people, I feel would make me a hypocrite, which I’ve been in the past.
Any answer I give you will either get me banned because this is a site with left-leaning mods or will get you to call me sexist. So I’ll just say this in the most politically correct way possible.
Yeah I agree with it. In a relationship men are naturally leaders and providers. In a healthy household the man is the leader and the king of his castle. If that makes you mad then f*** you I don’t give a s***. Like I said, debate and interpretation is meant to be made over it’s words, but I believe the Quran is a flawless book.
f*** you, too, b****
He’s islamophobic
sorry I don’t believe in a misogynistic view!!

Not a muslim nor am with Islam either, Jacob/Israel has the one true God, who creates all things, good and evil. However the principle of the family structure is 100%.
This new age mindset is destructive, I'm in literal tears lmao seeing its downfall and the ancient path always pullin thru APTTMH
I think if your religion explicitly tells you not to question or think critically about it it should be an immediate red flag

Eventually humans always return to our natural roles that God intended for us to be in. I’m having fun watching it fall apart as well.
I think all religions have a bunch of fiction to it tbh
Still believe there is some kind of higher upper or “creator.” The universe is too perfect to have been an accident.

Absolutely brother. Is there anything that pertains to the end times within the Quran?
I don't believe in any religion.
Do you believe there was some kind of creator?
"AstroJesus"
For me all mythological tales are stories and it's just like having Spider-Man as a display name. People focus too much on face value and don't try to learn the morals these stories teach.

Of the people there are some who say: "We believe in Allah and the Last Day;" but they do not (really) believe.
Fain would they deceive Allah and those who believe, but they only deceive themselves, and realise (it) not!
In their hearts is a disease; and Allah has increased their disease: And grievous is the penalty they (incur), because they are false (to themselves).
When it is said to them: "Make not mischief on the earth," they say: "Why, we only Want to make peace!"
Of a surety, they are the ones who make mischief, but they realise (it) not.
When it is said to them: "Believe as the others believe:" They say: "Shall we believe as the fools believe?" Nay, of a surety they are the fools, but they do not know.

No
Do you have any kind of theory on how you think humans were created, the earth was created, and things like that
