Ain’t no Hispanic I met fw it, they say Gringos are ruining their culture
Tbh. Latino already covers every person in Latin America. I’ve never heard any woman complain about being categorized in it.
To an extent America/American is female. I don’t see whites saying “americanx”
It's an academia word. Mostly scholars and activist use the term.
Dont care, muh sjws

Wat part of ga u live In I heard south ga p much north Florida lol
Never heard anyone use this term in real life... only on Twitter or on T.V
Twitter ain’t real life that’s why
how tf are you supposed to pronounce it
i see non-white twitter activists use it all the time
yeah I feel like it's more a specific demographic of progressive/woke people than a racial one. I don't think any white person outside the realm of activism/social justice ever uses latinx and if they do it's probably in an attempt to be politically correct vs. something they feel strongly about. the overwhelming majority of people over the age of 25 don't know wtf latinx is, I don't think it's a white conspiracy to erase hispanic culture (they got enough ways to do that already )

Males and females, and even non binary people are covered by "Americans" though. No gendered difference in English when describing ethnicities: Mexican, German, French etc
Edit: apparently it is a thing in French
calling this a first world problem would be an understatement
Until you go and look at the treatment of trans and gay people in Latin American countries
the word latino is gendered but not the meaning
sort of how children could by a group of both boys and girls
wait I'm confused, are you saying that use of the term latinx is racist or that the term is necessary due to issues of LGBT rights in Latin America?
I see a lot of the younger generation, especially the feminists use it here in Argentina. or they'll use e instead of a/o. for example "maestro" means school teacher and a small minority of activists might say "maestre" or "maesrtx"
I think it's overkill personally and it drives a lot of people nuts but I get where they're coming from
ayyyyyyy im 813
Where you from
Used to stay out in Brandon
Duolingo doesn't teach u that term so I do not use it
Thanks for coming to my TEDx talk
Damn even TED gender neutral now

It’s not exclusive to Latin America, Eastern Europe and Africa and Asia all don’t like the LGBT people
