We buying used cheap cars cash to drive to work. Leasing a second car for a backup.
O
$400 for a truck? That’s cheap lol. I know and heard of people paying $800+ monthly for a truck
Really? Oh s*** I got lucky then since they got a standard truck without all the fancy s***.

Nee trucks range in price from 20k to 80k+.
Why y'all buying y'all cars with cash? Genuinely curious. I thought leasing was the way to go, because cars depreciate in value
Financially speaking thats the way to go. Buy a old used car you can pay cash for. I wouldn't do that unless I was broke because I like having something new to drive abd money is meant to be spent.
Leasing is only a good financial decision if you are buying a luxury vehicle that is expensive to repair
Financing is always the better option. But strongly recommend buying a cheap car that gets you to and from. Car prices are pretty much a scam to pay pensions of old people using inflated prices

Money is meant to be spent is a bad statement and just wrong

I enjoy having nice things and you only live once. You do you though have fun in a 2002 Toyota.
If you can just pay it out fully, even if it means buying something a bit cheaper
Trust me you'll thank yourself in the long run whenever you talk to someone who did the opposite
Finance til cars worth more than loan, then use the difference for downpayment but this time i just paid that s*** off with those stimmy and unemployment checks.
My first new car 2013 camaro i leased, went over the miles and had to pay 7k extra when giving the car back lmao.

They charge per mile if you go over the amount of miles they allow on your lease mine was 12,000 miles per year but i went over cuz i was driving to la for work everyday.
-buy a used car cash
-pay yourself as if you had a car payment and put it into high interest yielding savings account or invest it into a reliable mix.
-sell used car and use savings to buy new just okay car cash
-repeat step 2
-buy a nicer car cash
-repeat until dream car is acquired
