No. Modern day American imperialism would in many ways make Hitler proud. Hyper Nationalism running rampant is something he would just be jealous of. America having bases world wide and acting as a super power while vetoing anyone that tries to hold them accountable is all things he would love if he was doing.

If we was talking about America in like the 50s - 80s when they were ursurping countries and planting dictators I'd agree with u, but in 2024 I think our foreign policy is relatively benign. But like I said I don't keep up with this s***

    since 2010 we

    • turned libya from one of the most educated nations in africa into a failed state
    • turned syria, one of the highest living standards in the middle east, into a wasteland
    • created the conditions for ISIS to arise
    • turned our former puppet in afghanistan over to a bunch of village hicks
    • sat on our hands as our ally azerbaijan invaded armenia
    • are aiding a livestreamed genocide
    • starved yemen, then bombed them to keep that genocide going
    • allowed a foreign nation to put agents on our land to protect its genocidal intentions
    • f***ed around and turned ukraine into a warzone for no reason
    • are sending nazis weapons to turn ukraine into afghanistan 2
    • are stealing oil from iraq using military bases
    • attempted, and failed, a trade war with china for no reason
    • are trying to instigate conflict with china and iran
    • employing useless, damaging sanctions against cuba, north korea, and iran

how are we benign by any standard, even by russian and chinese standards

a lot of these conflicts were already f***ed before america joined in, youre making it sound like everything was sweet then america just f***ed it up, like yes a lot of the actions america took escalated conflicts but its not like we started the s***. u literally cited us NOT doing something for armenia as a flaw in foreign policy but this whole time you are saying we are doing too much, should we just stay out of conflicts or intervene make up ya mind

america has overwhelmingly idly stood by as bad things happened, or made things worse, both being for its own benefit

why are you being so obtuse

  • and btw we started most of these by funding and backing foreign groups like Euromaiden and the Islamist resistance in the Middle East

  • the last time we rly did anything good was kosovo and that was after bombing a LOT of civilians

  • Apr 25, 2024

KTT users say this and they're from like Canada or the UK lol

Yea I can't disagree with this. I'm not gonna lie like America has good intentions. But the arms of the government responsible for these things don't reflect the values of the American people

our older population's overwhelming support and our younger population's indifference for these actions says otherwise
