Yeah people do that, I've seen people selling custom USBs with albums loaded on them, they can get pretty nice as well.

Same, just like you said, people usually use them to load em up with music

Nah . Too much clutter. Just cop vinyls if you want music in a physical format and make a collection. Overall better than cds which is why vinyl will never die.

Currently in line buying picture frames for displaying album artwork + CD

Gonna put up about 35+ or so of my favorite albums on my wall (more like 40 but some are duplicate album covers lol)

    CDs are lit

    How

  • Nov 21, 2022

    No

Let's snip that in the bud right now

And half the people only buy vinyls to put on display

Do you believe floppy disk or vhs will make a comeback?

when i started buying more CDs a couple years ago, it was kinda crazy hearing the difference in audio quality. The Chronic and Doggystyle bumped HEAVY in my car compared to streaming

I'm telling you man, when you an audio engineer, you could achieve any type of mixing and mastering sound with a CD. It can sound digital or a***og.

Wished ye continue with it. But an album being distributed through an usb could of been dope

Interesting, but it would be kinda tacky lol

  • Nov 21, 2022

    Highlyyyy doubt it

  • Nov 21, 2022

Also the special thing about CDs is that you can just burn that s*** and transfer Lossless to the computers

Cuz a lot of these streaming services are missing a lot of music.

I tried to find the Space Jam soundtrack on Apple Music to listen to the song Busta Rhymes / Method Man / LL and Coolio had on there. Just to find out 75% of the album is missing

Bruh, the Space Jam version of this

This should've been automatically on streaming

S*** like this is one of the reasons why I feel like CD comeback would be good, if it ever happens.

No, but I do think owning music will make a comeback so to speak. There will be some kinda event or incident where people will realize not actually owning the music you listen to doesn’t benefit us.

wow i honestly didnt know it was this deep i never knew "platform albums" were a thing...very very interesting

im not too crazy on kpop, but the packaging alone looks really appealing to me. i wish other artists would follow suit with this kinda format, but with CDs included of course lol

yeah man, they really go off

this was just shown today for this upcoming album "birthday"

its packaged as a birthday cake. i have to get this

I think vinyl has taken that lane. CDs are still big in Asia at least.
