Will never forget going out with work colleagues for the first time. When a homeless guy asked for some change I said sorry I don’t have any. Colleague turns to me after and says “I don’t even bother acknowledging them anymore all they are gonna do is spend money on d****”.
10 mins later he’s leading organising get coke in for a load of our colleagues before their Friday night out

DefaultI used to work at a college. Like a really expensive one. So they always had top tier food for the students there. They have like little to-go meals in these plastic containers they would just throw away at the end of the night.
I remember asking my supervisor if I could take them with me. So i load up my backseat with like a dozen of then. Planning on giving the to the homeless people at the intersections on my way home.
Dude asks me for some any spare dollars to get something to eat I’m like “nah but I got some food right here”. Dude takes the food and as I’m driving off I deadass see him throw it in the trash

Hell naw. Because I’m from Chicago and my cousin literally knows 3 that do it as a side hustle and go back home and it definitely don’t end there.

Feb 24, 2020I live in Vegas so I’ve always been around homeless people. I always try to treat them with kindness. They tend to be the most down-to-earth people and are usually very nice. Sometimes if I have money instead of just giving them a dollar I’ll buy them a candy or something.
