Yes, the idea of going into my 30s alone in a house full of cats is terrifying

That’s what I was thinking, because I found data saying that among unmarried couples, the person likely to initiate the breakup is about the same between men and women. Maybe when it comes to marriage, men have more to lose in a divorce, so they’re less likely to initiate one?

i think it’s more bc of the lie that American media pushes on people, especially girls, from a young age, that marriage is about love & your spouse is the one-and-only with your soulmate. marriage being about love wasn’t a concept until recent decades. bc when love inevitably fades, what’s left? there has to be something substantial to keep people together. and if there’s not.. i think bc of the propaganda pushed on young girls, they’re more disappointed in the loss of love than men, and it makes them wanna try searching again. whereas men aren’t exposed to that level of propaganda from the wedding industry, so they don’t initiate divorces as often

I plan on proposing to my gf within the next two years so yes

Definitely. My soulmate is out, I just need to find her.

I understand marriage isn’t for everyone and if it’s not for you, that’s totally fine. Live your best life

But for me, when I meet my soulmate, it’ll be eternal bliss
