    I don't

He like a slight notch below those two imo.

Actually not even slightly either like a full notch or two below them.

Had a real strong start that was influential and potent in its own right

But those other two overall career wise completely lap Thug imho

    I would, I think.
Thug’s influence and overall mark on the culture is unmatched, even if he’s had less consistent commercial success.

That’s not to say the other two are slacking in that regard either, though.

He has a catalogue of great music and was highly influential but he’s not even close to Wayne who is arguably the greatest rapper ever. Future you can kinda argue it maybe, but he has a more recognizable and impactful discography.

He’s like a tier below future and two tiers below Wayne. I’d put him with Sosa

  • Feb 22

one of my favorite artist of all time above both those guys

  • Feb 22

I don’t put young thug and future in the same sentence as lil wayne outside of his influence on them when really outside of autotune, Gucci their biggest influence

Like I feel what you saying. It's just that Wayne and Future are on another level in regards of whatever we give thug credit for.

Number #1 hits, Number #1 albums, Grammy's, Career defining moments in the culture. (Even as recent as last year for Future), Longevity, Influence, hits spanning decades, Ushering in new rap stars, star producers etc etc.

Thug just doesn't have that. He is in that Chief Keef tier if you ask me

  • I don’t like pitting him against future because truthfully he’s equally great but in this context he (future) had his creative explosion all in like an 11 month span, which cemented his legacy, thug had to prove his artistry several times over & continue to evolve, due to the Wayne beef baggage—to ever gain respect before he started to mail it in w the YSL sound

He didn’t give us YB bro. YB f***ed with him on some gang banging s***. But his main sound is Boosie and Gates

And if we judge niggas by who they put on then Gucci would be up there with Wayne but we all know he isn’t
