Ever since my grandmother passed my moms lamp turns on by itself and flicks whenever I’m home.
Also, after my grandma passed I dreamed of lottery #’s that came out.
And my lamp in my dorm flicks on and off at random times whenever I feel alone or stressed.
Do you think she’s in heaven? Or still on earth as a spirit?
What do you think @Tobacky
Enlighten us
Man I really wanna believe there’s a heaven. Imagine never seeing your friends, family, pets once they are gone. That’s cruel man so many people are anticipating to reunite with their loved ones
Don’t need one don’t want one
Why not?
The idea that there won't be anything(which I believe) is really depressing to me

So depressing! Imagine grinding all these years just to end to sudden darkness forever
Its been scientifically proven that good guys go to heaven and bad guys and women go to hell

the idea of after-life is flawed. not trying to use fiction to make my point but I believe in some true detective szn 1 or Loki type s***, meaning our perception of time as linear is not the whole story. life and after life only makes sense conceptually based on linear time. so yea I believe there is more to our existence than this life, but I don't think of it in the way of "after life"
What’s your thoughts on this though?
I don't think there is. I just imagine it as being the same as before you were born. You just cannot get your head around how it'll be.
The stuff that's even more depressing/weird is the fact the whole universe at some point won't even exist anymore.

Damn so religion really be having us believe a false narrative huh? makes sense tho since none of us know where we were before we were born nor do we have any recollection. Sad

So what is the existence after our life on earth ends?
Peace
But what if your peace is to be reunited with your loved ones?
we all came from something, theoretically everything in our known universe was the size of a pin point right before the big bang. people might be able to comprehend that from a purely matter perspective (like those atoms became earth's atoms), but it gets tricky when you think about consciousness. when did the first conscious being in our universe come to be? how did we go from no consciousness to infinite amounts of conscious beings (including micro-ogranisms)? how does consciousness (and therefore, life and death) play into the greater truths of the universe? we cannot know.

This makes me sad and hopeful at the same time
