I actually loved Drakes music and defended him for years. I never wished for his downfall. But, at this point, it is over. I am sorry that you are a super fan and can't see the forest from the trees.

Reading this is bizarre to me because as a musician and as a fan of quality music, it couldn’t be clearer that Drake fell off like 5 years ago. Stans can shove data points down our throats but ears don’t lie. The product has been getting worse for a long time and now the true believers are finding themselves screaming into the void like the handful of Kanye stans who pretend Donda 2 and Vultures 2 aren’t total crap.

I don’t think Drake’s newer albums are quite as egregiously sloppy and unfinished as those, but as long as Views and Scorpion streams prop up his overall numbers, it wouldn’t really matter if they were. Drake will still be #1 no matter how uninspired his new stuff is.
