His last album was very good. He could do everything , ktt would still find a way to hate. + he is not cool anymore and most people here and music sites , very very young and they feel insecure about liking something that isn't the waviest s*** rn. For me seeing the hate is pretty sad, because Em was a big part of my childhood and even though he dropped some horrible albums lately ( revival and kamikaze ) , i never roasted him , and always respected him for what he achieved.

2 bad albums, Encore and Revival. And both have some great songs.

I'm not Kamikaze's or MTBMB's biggest fan. But both are far from horrible.

Kamikaze has 3 tracks I don't like and I always skip (Normal, Nice Guy and Good Guy) and Venom, which I like, but doesn't fit the album. Other than that, it was good.

Relapse is amazing, Recovery is trash

People seriously hating on Music To Be Murdered By but tbh that project was great... Dude actually listened to the criticism after Kamikaze and seriously improved on the cohesiveness, features and production that hurt his last albums

Em completely switched up and realized he can make songs with Soundcloud rappers like Juice Wrld and Don Toliver and rap on 808s and still be entertaining

MTBMB and Relapse are really good albums, but everything that came in between is hardly listenable and already aging terribly. I think Em’s next project will show us if his legacy is actually tarnished; if he can make another MTBMB quality album or if that was just a fluke.

A big reason people are questioning his legacy now is because it’s been so long since he did a track like that. The last few times he’s tried to do this it hasn’t worked very well. The only poppin lyrical rappers he’s tried to do this with recently are Kendrick and Sean. Apparently he locked Kendrick in a room alone and made him write his verse quick af and we all know he spent half the verse on Big Sean’s song rapping about Ann Coulter’s cooch

I think J Cole is the only rapper popular enough and good enough to go against Em in this fashion right now
