SaturnHe’s actually regressing. Each album is more water down and industry fed. He was better when it was organic/ dark before he blew up
i used to think this but i think astroworld is the only album where this fits but even that still has some songs that are some real trav s***. birds to me feels like an extremely personal album at least personal in the context of trav who just says random stuff in a lot of his songs

The only thing that travis is lacking are his lyrics. He doesn't rap about anything substantial. Even when he attempts to, its mostly about nothing (e.g. Coffee Bean).U maybe just don't get coffee bean, basically about being in a relationship as a rapper with fame, pretty straight forward even lmao

I agree for the most part but there’s songs on Birds, Astro and especially HJ, JH that have pretty basic production and Travis sounds pretty weak on them

I’m aware of all of this, except pick up the phone I don’t see how he doesn’t come up with the melodies tho, reference tracks don’t mean they came up with them, just means they wrote lyrics
