wtf happened
He started using them after antidote blew up

Straight up, la Flame, oh no, and that dope been around since Owl Pharoah days. They all over DBR. Antitode just started “it’s lit” since that’s when it started being used a lot on social media
Maybe one of the most uninteresting artist out there
how explain
who do u listen to?
He’s actually regressing. Each album is more water down and industry fed. He was better when it was organic/ dark before he blew up
thats just your opinion tho. the reality is he has yet to drop an album that isnt atleast an 8/10 so idk how u can argue he is regressing

Of course but all the high pitched adlibs came about as a result of antidotes success. The yeah yeahs & it’s lit to be specific. Post rodeo he rarely did any adlibs besides yeahs and it’s lit

Post rodeo I can find plenty songs where he still uses straight up and la flame, till this day even on his recent features/songs lmfao. And he uses let’s go a lot nowadays
It not only lacks growth, it's actually regressed over time.
Owl Pharaoh was an ambitious but not-fully-realized release. When it was on point, it was amazing, but when it wasn't, it was pretty corny.
DBR tightened up the loose ends on OP but still suffered from inconsistency issues, particularly in the back half.
Rodeo is where he nailed the marriage of his sonic ambitions and personal style simultaneously and is one of the best hip hop albums ever made.
Birds is just a Future album with more reverb, Astroworld is like expensively produced Soundcloud rap

He’s definitely used La flame more as of the past couple years. Pop it was used quite a bit astroworld era and yeah now he does let’s go. I don’t remember the last time I heard him say straight up tbh
"Does Travis sound lack growth" mf his last album dropped in 2018
he's dropped singles and plenty of features since then....not to mention multiple albums where the sounds hasn't evolved much
