Found some classic Doom II textures in Level 2 and I'm not sure what they do

You can interact with a door texture and it starts spinning

this s*** gas

I wish melee wasnt so nerfed compared to 2016. Cant even kill a regular zombie without a shotgun

Also f*** the jumping and climbing sections.

Constantly clipping on the level geometry
Graphics are kinda dated (im playing it maxed out too)

Framerate is solid as f*** tho

Nah both games are fun but I always prefer the classic games cause I really enjoy short maps with traps, switches and doors and stuff.

In the new games, demons just spawn out of nowhere in big arenas while in classic doom the demons already exist on the map and you basically set them free by activating traps

Doom 2016 is shaping up to still be my fav

the jumping parts are impossible lmao i just die so it spawns me at the top

When you're trying to get some health back but every monster starts dying right away

When you don't have any ammo and there are only big monsters everywhere

When you fail a random encounter and you now have no ammo anymore to try again

the depth of the combat with saving smaller enemies for farming and several brutal attacks for farming armor, health and ammo
the guns
the abilities and skill trees
the platforming
the design, graphics and optimization
the soundtrack
everything about this game is great. ive been disappointed by most games lately, this hit the f***ing bullseye
