Doris a great album but def feels dated & every single release after it has been leagues better
The only album I go back to from him
Everything he's made since then doesn't cut it for me
Knight is very good
It’s not but it’s aged super well
If you literally only think in terms of flow, then yes. Earl when he was in his actual rapping phase was my favorite artist ever, but SRS is just a progression in making music. The transitions, the expansion in subject matter, the production
Earl thought he could say more by saying less. My opinion is that he did.

SRS
Doris
Sick
p accurate, need to revist SRS tho
The thing is you really could pick a different favorite Earl album depending on what you like in rap. Doris has some of the best displays of rapping you'll see. I don't like s*** (which I've never gotten the hype for honestly) feels like completely peeling the curtains and just giving you emotion in its rawest a human can express, which is some s*** that's incredibly hard to do as a writer. Not the best word to describe this, but the almost depravity of 2015 Earl was one of the most concerning personas we got out of a rapper.
best is arguable, it’s definitely a good album and my fav by him. i’ve got a ton of nostalgia surrounding it cuz i got as one of those OF stans who was anticipating that s*** like the second coming of Christ lmfao.
i used to like I Don’t Like S*** a little more, but I think Doris will always hold a higher place in my heart. i enjoy everything Earl has released tho
I think it has the best atmosphere and melodicism of his work. I used to joke that he invented the sludge rap sub genre on that record and honestly I still kind of stand by that. Nothing really sounds like it still. I agree though that everything he’s done has been good.
