It's what really makes "Sick" hurt more than anything is that it doesn't have that absolute value that puts it somewhere different than the other ones, for me at least

Clean production, some samples that do a good job of trying to progress thematics, some deep topics, many moments of returning to vocally powerful rapping, but overall, it just never felt like the landmark moment he accomplished with really, every album or tape up (until FOC) since 2010

His last two projects placing him in his wtf era

His last two projects placing him in his wtf era

lol that's def one way to put it. Idk how to phrase where he's at musically. He's clearly in real life a more grounded and laid back dude just tryna learn how to be a real adult...but idk if that's always showing up in the music lol

I would say this, outwardly speaking, is the hardest time he's had in putting what he's going through onto tape. It is easy as hell (just in terms of complexity) for him to talk about depression, death, putting big ass words together. That's nothing for him

Agreed. Best balance of all his styles

  • Feb 12, 2023

idlsidgo is like the fountain of youth

  • Feb 12, 2023

Some Rap Songs > IDLS > Doris > rest

  • Feb 12, 2023

Probably not best but most listenable for sure

IDLS just ahead at 1 as a “better” album but not really a project you can just throw on

    Doris hate itt extremely corny

Doris a great album but def feels dated & every single release after it has been leagues better

    It’s aged brilliantly imo

Unless your gripe is that his voice is pretty “young” sounding ?

    Smoking Rules

Real ones know it’s Feet of Clay

7 track album where he got bodied on 2 of the tracks not even top 3

  • Feb 12, 2023

SRS and IDLSIDGO are the only acceptable answers sorry

Would be cool if Earl did a project along the lines of Doris that will put him in convos with rap audience other than the underground hipster-ish crowd
