Fall 2024 at the earliest. 😒
Fall 2024 still seems likely now
I don’t expect this game to be good tbfh. It’ll be the nail in the coffin for BioWare. It sounds like it’s gonna copy FFXVI

Yeah between Elden Ring, Baldurs Gate 3 and Dragons Dogma this has to pop the f*** off for anyone to care. S*** its even living in the Witcher 3's shadow.
inquisition expansion was super heat that game in general is underrated - how you can make your own castle and settlement and carry out political meetings and conduct execution trials etc. and the decorating of the place was dope asl
sucks that pretty much all the content outside of the main story was ass tho
need them to go further with the city builder idea of inquistion

This series was rinsed last I checked. The way it tried to turn into half an action game was untenable.

Yeah I didnt even finish DA3
origins is the goat fam, even on a decent pc would run
finally got around to origins and you weren’t kidding, game is a 10/10 easily
Da:origins is a near-perfect rpg only major flaw imo is how you get permentantly locked out of quests and companions by a bullshit system that isn’t explained at all which cuts off certain places as you complete main quests. But other than that this game has incredible writing, character choice, solid companion systems and just great mechanics all around
Dreadwolf was cooler but ok
I still I have some hope for DA. Pretty sure BioWare’s survival rides on this game.
why isn’t it just dragon age: veilguard, one word in line with the other titles. Also I wonder if that means this story is gonna be less about dreadwolf now :/ I was kinda hyped for that plot line.
“The” is so unnecessary. Imagine they change the other games titles lmao
Dragon Age: The Origins
Dragon Age: The Inquisition

A post BG3 world is probably not gonna be kind to this game tbh, especially considering this series was literally intended to be a spiritual successor to BG.

It was, but tbf it is def not baldurs gate. It always felt more like a streamlined, no grinding, story based and single player rpg version of world of Warcraft. Theres no action points, or turn based combat like in baldurs gate. But they will have to focus on the world building, multiple outcomes, do whatever you want stuff baldurs gate 3 did. Because that was some next level stuff.

It has to, especially if it does actually end up being God of War (2018) with a party of Atreus(es).

Hahah what does that mean??

Different audiences. I love BG but this series hits different tbh, I much prefer this style of real-time combat where you’re not waiting for 5 minutes for every other unit to make its move. It’s just a completely different type of experience.
Dragon age origins is a 10/10 imo. The real question is if the writing in this game will hold up despite all the BioWare veterans being gone.

The game is supposedly inspired by God of War, and since there seems to be a party I’d imagine something akin to Atreus in terms of control of them (hit a shoulder button or something, then hit another button to order them to do a special attack/ability).
Unless you get more direct control over them.

That would be f***ing garbage if they did that. wtf. If they do that i hope BioWare goes under. EA is the worst videogame company of all time. Microsoft, EA and Ubisoft are a scourge.
