I had multiple long posts explaining why. It’s really only the 2 bad episodes that recreate the Oolong introduction that drag it down. The rest of it is mostly just fun space adventure stuff and it naturally leads into all the Baby material. It’s infinitely better in Japanese. The English version is a trainwreck.

Yeah I used to hate it myself. I recently went through all of OG Dragon Ball and Z all in original Japanese and GT works as a follow up much better in that way.

Finished og dragon ball (Read it watching it was too slow) , personally i prefer Z, I thought it was kinda boring till the red ribbon army arc after that it picked up pretty well. king Piccolo arc is probably my fav. gonna start GT and super soon.

Liked the last chapter a lot, hope this arc last a good time and not too crazy with the villain and just see the youngins trying to follow their (absent) father’s footsteps

This version of Trunks has a lot of potential for good storytelling. Unlike Future Trunks/Vegeta, his life has been relatively easy, he’s just a rich brat. But him knowing about his other self & father’s past can lead to how he goes about life

As for Goten, his laid back attitude (so far it seems) can be a nice foil for Trunks
