Future Gohan (or even Main Timeline Gohan) would've made more sense due to Future Trunks' connection to Gohan, but by that point neither version of Gohan were as strong as the protags so it'd be pointless.

So many possibilities. Goku & Vegeta telling Kid Trunks & Kid Goten that Black is Goten would’ve been 🔥 but we got an ok arc that was obvious early on 😪

Goku died before Goten was conceived in FTs timeline. Goten Black makes no sense at all to the story lol.

If you remove the Spirit Sword and the Potara Retcon the arc is still good. It wouldve been great if it had a better animation budget.

I understand that Goten didn’t exist there lol. I’m simply saying it was a popular theory and if they could’ve come up with something to make it fit that’d have been better imo.

Arc is ok, has the worst ending to a decent arc in the series though. Trunks power up is dumb, the sword as u touched on is ridiculous. I didn’t mind the retcon of the potara too much.

The mystery aspect was cool, could’ve been done better though it was very obvious early on what was going on.

Thats true but considering the angle they were going for, it's not really too far they could take it.

The only Characters that truly matter to Future Trunks are Gohan, Bulma, Vegeta, and Goku to a lesser extent.

Bulma is too weak to be a threat, Future and Main TL Gohan were both too weak to be a challenge to SSB, and Vegeta being evil again is just retreading to Majin and Baby Vegeta. A canonized Evil Goku is a fresh take bc its something we havent seen since Turles imo.

I do wish they wouldve redone the AF Xicor story and made it work for Super, but in FT's timeline.

Tien should marry Launch and give birth to a three eye blond hair transforming character.

Tien and Launch definitely shouldve had a kid in the timeskip between DB and Z.

It wouldve been cool to see a kid connected to the cast that could be Gohan's best friend.

AT looked like he was putting Dende in that role but he didnt stay consistent with it.

Things I’d watch from DB franchise, no order. Some would just be for the hell of it, some could potentially be great.

1. A Future Trunks vs Dabura OVA.
2. DBAF (sequel to GT)
3. Whatever happened in the 100 year timeskip in GT.
4. Non canon slice of life show involving all the main characters
5. U6 spin-off/backstory not necessarily about the characters we’ve seen. Granted Super may touch on this.

I haven’t watched the anime since I was a boy but how come when piccolo died he was able to keep his body but when vegeta died he wasn’t able to? Piccolo sacrificed himself sure but so did vegeta. Maybe it was explained in the anime but I don’t remember

Piccolo/Majunior never really did anything extremely evil if I recall.

The only thing he did that may have been morally evil was blow a hole in Goku's chest in their first fight. Piccolo killing Goku in the Raditz fight was necessary to save the world.

Vegeta had probably massacred millions of innocent lives if not more in the time hes been on the frontlines for the Frieza Force. Vegetas atrocities outdo Piccolo/Majuniors by a leaps and bounds.

Whew those ass pulls and inconsistencies in Omega powers Dragons 2, 3, 5, 7 suck ass but Eis, Nouva, and Omega was super overpowered with no explanation.
