rewatching the android saga today

Watched BoG and watching Resurrection of F, man I forgot how much I don’t like Jaco we didn’t need another s***ty comedic relief character.

anyone ever read the og manga? i watched DBZ here and there when I was a kid and wanted to watch from the beginning but i’m thinking about the manga just cause i can do that in less than a week, watching the show might take months.

decided go through some of the old DBZ films I used to love.. man this scene is f***ing crazy to me still. Gohan <3

Honestly DBZ is worth the watch and rn with this quarantine you got nun but time. The manga is great also but I’d honestly say go watch it.

I watched DB and DBZ when they were both released and saw every episode, as an adult I enjoy Kai more just because it condenses a lot of it and I already enjoyed all the episodes but you're right if you have the time watch DB and DBZ in full. You will never regret it at all. I just finished the android and cell sagas and I'm watching the world tournament saga now. When I go to bed I've been putting on the original DBZ films, Bojack Unbound in Japanese is still perfect to me

Bojack is great, my fav is probably the cooler movie

everybody gets mad at how teen Gohan turned out but as an adult now it all makes perfect sense to me. As teens we all thought we were going to be next up, the best, the one... and as we got older our goals changed, what we liked changed, and we became different people than who we were. The older I get the more Gohans character resonates with me.

Vegeta will still forever be my guy, thats why I have a Majin tattoo and my next tattoo will be a Vegeta one

Great way to look at it tbh. Gohan has always Been my favorite character since the first time I saw the cell saga as a kid so seeing him grow up and not be the amazing fighter he had the potential to be has always been a bummer lol.

they turned it back into the Goku-Vegeta show (I get why they did but yeah its a bummer to the fans of the newer characters), Idk maybe because now I'm rewatching the show as an adult I kind of understand Gohans story arc a little bit more.

Hes a mixture of his mom and dad, and when we were growing up we wanted him to be Goku Jr. Instead of a mixture of Chi-Chi and Goku. He's both parents, and with his father always dying or missing, of course he was going to turn out a lot like his mother, even though he had all the potential to surpass his father.

Just like people hate on Chi-Chi for being a b****, but how would you feel if your husband was always leaving, dying, or going off to fight, never wanting his kids to learn or grow up as regular people.. I mean they are half human.

I'm really enjoying the beginning of the world tournament sage, Gohan dodged Videl, trying to balance school and be the GREAT SAIYANMAN. It's actually a great arc

I always said the Goku Black arc doesn't make sense the anime version of Trunks makes zero sense

i just realized how awful goku black arc ending was

after the watch the arc once you never want to go back to it because its literally pointless... after everything happens to save Future Trucks timeline they just called Zeno who deletes it, and honestly out of that whole arc, they didnt even save Future Yajirobe, they just left him for dead.

Almost finished the Majin Buu saga, then its on to the Evil Buu saga.. after that I'm skipping most of super and going to the ToP arc. I wanted both movies the other night before bed so I'm pretty up to date, and I don't want to watch that awful Goku Black arc.

April 20th cant get here fast enough
