If youre the type that likes Naruto style fights, Dragonball fights are basically a predeccesor to that imo.

The coreography isn't as fleshed out but the martial arts in Dragonball feels more realistic and even the power differences are done in a way that doesn't embarrass the lower tier characters the way it did later in the series.

It’s really good. Not as good as Z but better than super imo. The training with roshi, all 3 tournaments and the fights with Tao, king piccolo, and especially piccolo jr are the highlights of the show

I dont get why Dragonball fans do their best to lowball current Gohan's power level, either that or choose to not accept his actual strength bc of "powerscaling sucks".

Gohan as a baby was technically the strongest fighter on Earth when he got angry and stunned Raditz. With no training whatsoever. His potential and power boosts have always defied any basic sense of power logic that Dragonball has had.

Just a rant but the hate boner that DB fans have over any Gohan that's not Future or Cell Gohan is dumb at this point bc their reasonings don't even make sense atm.

I think it has much less to do with fans hating just to hate in general and more with the inconsistency after the whole “Mystic” Gohan thing. He doesn’t need SS, yet used it in Super..then they treat Mystic like some type of transformation 😂

i just started reading the manga... i skipped the first few chapters since I watched Super.... so now I'm just on the Moro arc... its really good so far.

how do you think I feel i just started reading it two days ago and got all hyped only to realize its not finished.... just saw Goku got UI, then got hit with the new chapter april 20th

Trunks and Goten just don't matter anymore? they turned super sayain at 7 & 8 and can go ss3 fused... but now theyre just relegated to the pilaff gang? SMH

If you ask me, the writers shot themselves in the foot allowing goku & vegeta to become so strong to the point where everyone else seem so insignificant. And being that there is a zeno-god just gives them a get out of jail free card
