Does some things better (ending is great, SS4 much cooler than SSG, Bebi a better villain than anything in Super) but Super is better overall. Neither are great.

So you're going to ignore everything in the video because there was no one he talked to that said plans changed when that's obviously the case. Like he and others have said no one expected the anime that's filling Super's timeslot to get a second season or expected it to become popular. Then the DQ anime was a surprise too.

The Digimon anime convo is relevant because it also will replace the anime that replaced DBS. It shows that now that Digimon is there no one now knows when DBS will come back because Digimon is popular in Japan and could run all year.

It's also worth noting that Toriyama hasn't officially given a new storyboard to the dragon Ball. Toyotarou has been doing the new arc mostly himself.

Seems like Toei doesn't want another GT debacle. Cause well GT was a disaster.

Toei wouldn't have been shopping it around international if it wasn't coming back last year. It was too many hints of it coming back and then it seem like it was pulled last minute.

DBS wasn't as bad as GT. If it was it would have got cancelled came back and then got cancelled again

I'm watching the Future Trunks Saga in DBS right now and WHY the f*** didn't they use the evil containment wave / mafuba on Buu ? Everyone in DBZ and DBS pretended that the original DB never happened and suddenly they all remember stuff from that first show

When they did it against King Piccolo both before Dragonball and during, he was the strongest on Earth considerably, so it made sense.

Then when they tried it against Piccolo, he reversed it and caught Kami in it. They probably saw how easily the move could backfire and stopped using it.

With the Buu Saga, Goku had SSJ3, Gotenks at full strength was stronger than SSJ3 Goku, and Gohan at full strength was even stronger than Gotenks, plus Vegito. In terms of being able to compete with Buu, they were always in a position where one person could win, they just all got cocky and did stupid s*** repeatedly to jeopardize that.

This was my biggest problem with Tiens character

Tien and Launch couldve easily had a child that could've basically been to Gohan what Krillin is to Goku at least.
