Movie was pretty good. Definitely glad I watched it on a big screen because some of the animation definitely wouldn't have hit as hard otherwise.

The 3D animation style definitely paid off towards the end

It gets old for sure but with the concepts of God Ki was originally is fun to see and same with UI/UE. I just hope those are their final forms because it seems perfect for their character arcs

Plus from the last movie I can see: Vegeta perfecting UE since he realized that Jiren was only slightly better than them because he was focused. And beerus said in order to use UE to its fullest he needs to focus on destroying

Who else has God Ki besides Goku, Vegeta, and Whis? Frieza doesn't have God Ki. I don't understand why he titled it "easily accessible" when only 2 non god characters and the other gods have it.

This person is missing an important part of why Goku needs to tap into other powers to stack on top of God Ki, he's still training on how to use it. Same wit Vegeta. All this in this reddit post is answered if they actually watch/read.

I ultimately agree with you but trasformations becoming pointless is so true tho.
God should have kept more unique and confined to BoG, while enemies should have been in tiers to see SSJ and the following ones used more or improved. Like Goku mastering SSJ3 energy issues could have been such a cool concept to explore but now it's all meh

What people aren't realizing is all this is just fluff to get to the point where the epilogue is with Goku and Uub. Goku didn't use a single transformation vs him. I got a feeling of where the story was going when it showed that Goku has given up on MUI to use a version of UI that works for him at the end of the chapter. It was just a black haired version of MUI.

Trust me nobody wants Goku to actually master SSJ3 and they show how Goku unlocked it more than me. But we already knew this was how the story was going to go as there was no fighters stronger than Majin Buu left in the universe. This is why Frieza was brought back to give Goku and Vegeta a reason to keep training. Also probably why Broly was brought into canon as not because he's a fan favorite, but as another fight to keep Goku and Vegeta on their toes.
