It already will be retconned a bit. Narrative wise it'll be retcon but the setup will still be the same. The only thing changing will be God Ki added and probably UI and Ubb unlocking a transformation he can't control.

A lot of that will be retcon. The only thing that won't change is the setup of a tournament. Even the whole "After the battle with Buu, The Earth endured peace for years" will change as well.

thank god toyo is incorporating the movie. I don't want the anime to skip the Moro and Granola arc. Also, I hope the anime retells the full Broly script (a 6-episode long mini arc for Broly should be enough) as well as Super Hero (manga arc). Considering they have enough pre-planning it shouldn't be anywhere as disastrous as the RoF arc.
