This not directed at dreadedlox but to other people who claim they’ve been playing the same stuff over and over

Legacy of Goku doesnt play like Taiketsu, Taiketsu doesnt play like Ultimate Battle 22 which doesnt play like Budokai & Budokai doesn’t play like Fighterz which doesn’t play like Xenoverse and Xenoverse doesn’t play like Burst Limit which doesn’t play like supersonic warriors and none of them play like this game. Historically, most the games were missing parts of the story. This is a “open world” rpg, covering all of Z. On a home console. Most console DB games story mode is just like a Tekken, street fighter, etc....where you fight. Cutscene. Fight. Cutscene. Up until the final boss. This involves exploration, side quests, & character management. DB does a lot better job of switching things up than they are given credit for.

This is the first time the series have been covered beginning to end, from episode 1 to the end with fillers, side stories and s***. Plus it’s being made by cc2 who’s famous for how they handled the naruto story in the storm series

Trips me out when I see guys questioning the battle mechanics(I kinda get it) For this when they 1. applaud some of the messiest looking action RPGs & 2. Act like they don’t know how fighting was projected in the manga/anime lmao it was all over the place. Of course combat will be the same.

It literally is though. Of course there are new features as far as gameplay but it’s still overall the same story we already know. Which was my point.

But it’s never been done right or had this much care put into it. I think that’s the real appeal. We’ve never just gotten the full story of Dragon Ball Z in a game start to finish without BS. Tenkaichi 2 is probably the closest I believe
