After Hours had immense hype and still only managed about 221M US streams in it's first week. 275K units came from pure sales, boosted by bundles. Abel will be lucky to pull even 50K pure sales this time around (most artists will struggle to reach that number) so if his next album can't smash on streaming...
Most artists who used bundles to boost their last albums will see a huge decline in first week sales the next time they drop.

because regardless he will break records so ppl who care about sales will have even more reason to brag
i think it will be fun getting all the promo after the album as a means of hyping the inevitable tour instead of using it for an album that’s been hyped for mad long
we haven’t had a huge surprise drop in years and i think this one would be super successful and fun

i guess this depends what yall mean by surprise drop but I really don't think he'd lose out on any streams if he just posted on IG on Wednesday night "CLB in 24hours" with a cute little trailer and then dropped it that Friday
