Pierre has a lot going for him. Great prod, great melodies, very relatable, great videos, cover arts etc. TLOP 4 one of my favorite albums tbh.

That being said he’s just flat out not as good of a rapper and vocalist as Carti. Carti is great because of the way he says s***. He can cover a lot of emotional ground with just the way he delivers the lines. Long time is a great example of this.

I’m not a fan of Eminem but he has hits on hits. He’s the highest selling rapper of all time. There’s literally no metric you could use to say Travis or Carti are better writers or song makers. Not lyrical s***, not hits, nothing, He beats them objectively in every possible category

im glad you said that, so what niggas think about Future in the south doesn’t determine how great he actually is at crafting a song, maybe that means we should assess how good they are in a vacuum (like I’ve been doing and even giving songs) instead of appealing to your homeboy down the block

im arguing whos a better songwriter based on criteria that creates a good songwriter thats generally accepted, ive never said future is a great songwriter because people think hes one of the greatest, I would say hes a good songwriter because hes a good songwriter.
