Yeah cause "our generation" sucks Who are the best current gen rappers after those 3? Exactly
Future
Uzi Vert
Youngboy
His last great album was NWTS. His last great project was IYRTITL. That’s 5 years ago.
At least better than not dropping any great albums like Cole, plus Drake's next album might be up there again (Just speculating). Not to mention Care Package was fantastic

Care packages was a greatest hits lol. How a guy gonna be top 10 when he hasn’t released a great project in 5 years. Y’all be giving drake a pass lol.
That’s almost as bad as Eminem streak of bad albums.
niggas saying drake would be top 3 in 2000s are dumb lol
he would get clowned, even if he was a pop hit. Rap itself wouldn't claim him.
this is the era of wayne & 50, kanye had a hard time selling himself & he wasn't even a "pop act".
stop it.
2000's had lots of great, noteworthy rappers it's not even comparable. The only case Drake has for being top 3 is commercially of all time or musically only for 2010's

I know he'll be top 10 guaranteed when it comes to commercial success, music quality? Well that's debatable but to me he's up there
No Dre?
Not for me. It's not just because every verse he's ever rapped has been ghost written (I know Drake and Kanye work with plenty of writers, but they also bring a lot to the table. Drake, especially, is an incredible songwriter) but also because I just don't really feel an authentic connection with what Dre is rapping. He doesn't even smoke weed and his entire rapper image is based on that.
As a producer he's obviously top 5 though.
Has he really been on top tho I realize the quality of music he’s put out. But has he really been on top relevancy wise and making impact. He’s top 10 to me because he’s still is somewhat relevant and has multiple classics. But I also don’t think he’s really ever been considered top 3 of any of the generations he’s been a part of he’s just been there.
He's literally in top 3 of all time. Nas has at least 5 classic albums and more than any of the three. Cole has 2. Drake has 3. Kendrick has 3. It's fine if you're not familiar with him but lack of information doesn't diminish someones value lol.
I agree 100% on Kendrick but Cole and Drake (and I'm a fan) don't belong anywhere on a top 10 list. A real top three looks something like Nas, Kendrick and Andre. If you want to say in the last decade, sure, Drake and Cole are locks too. But I'd still put Jay, Eminem, and Kendrick ahead of Cole AT LEAST. Lupe should be in there too.
