Apparently not. I was in Weeknd section and people were unironically saying After Hours and Dawn fm > Kiss land and Echoes of Silence
Not really hot takes
yeah but its still impressive that he didnt fell off that badly. he still making good music
Nah can’t do that brother
Music still kinda matters as far as longevity that’s why he’s still the man
Saweetie is hella popular but music is ass that’s why she sold 2k
Drake is not dropping his best work to date but he’s obviously making good enough music for ppl to still anticipate his drops
I feel like drake can drop a song with the abc flow and his fans & people who don’t know s*** about music will still call it good look at toosie slide it’s the f***ing hookie pookie flow and niggas still called that s*** good
Only KTT stans truly believe drake is still great. Most drake stans I know irl admit his best days were early 10s, anything after that is hit or miss. Gotta keep them OVO bosses happy though so the slurping continues
If we're truly talking about an album that "came and went" like y'all always say Mr. Morale did--its the dance album Aubrey released this year. Nobody even mentions that s*** anymore lol Alas...If you've heard one drake album, you've heard anything hes ever had to say
Meanwhile future never fell
i never liked you is a comeback album to the public
high off life was the falloff moment
Drake's music used to be so special to me. But not anyomore. Things change, and that's ok.

Only new niggas that got into Abel's music in 2014 and got a XOTWOD tattoo in BBTM/Starboy era think this
You could make this case for a lot of rappers who've gone 7+ years.
I feel like landscape is everything and it always changes, it's upto the artist to adapt.
Drake made great music during the early 10s but people gotta think about the situation back then aswell.
He's not up an up and coming rapper, he's not new, the sound of everything has changed tremendously and he's already told his story on his previous projects.
In saying that, Drake is still consistent but you not gonna get another Take Care / NWTS out of him but you still gonna get great music either way.
if i'm pretending to like jumbotron poppin, on bs & broke boys then i'm never gonna stop pretending
Drop your drake rankings
Nothing was the same
Take care

NWTS was his peak but Her Loss is close. Album is magical. Concise, full of ear worms, top shelf production, no skips (apart from the 21 solo song), and just generally fun af to listen to. It’s everything I look for in hip hop.

Does anyone else think her loss is close to NWTS?

If you heard one bad bunny song you've heard them all.
What Drake failed to do in the past 7 years is evolve. He kinda stayed the same but his fan base so loyal they rode with it.
Future definitely evolved from his 2014 self

Yeah he’s overrated as hell to, heard his song on the radio for the first time i need my 3 mins back lmao
