It's sad but very true. Worst part is I don't see the next big 3 anywhere.
Both are gonna have crazy sales though. Caring about the streams more than quality tends to work when it comes to numbers.
This kinda cut me up. There really is no clear-cut group to carry the torch because everything is too diluted and moves too fast
Drake’s outrapping Kanye by a wide margin, a younger me would not have believed this
Honestly disagree tbh, Ye had much more energy and lyrics like on Jesus Lord are far more meaningful. Sounded like Drake couldn't be bothered on half the tracks.
Thug’s verse on Donda>>>>>
Durk’s verse on Donda>>>>>
Cudi’s verse on Donda>>>>>
Drake got a better Jay verse tho

Wtf you not gonna sit here and tell me Kanye out rapped him
Donda is too long and CLB is boring. I can't listen to any front to back as much as I should. Donda is better though because the hughs are incredible. The highs in clb won't have longevity

It's like i said. Drake has less to talk bout. But pure lyrically, if we looking at rhyme schemes etc. Drake is better atm.
I dont wanna make this comparison but its like Eminem in a way. Rapping wise he blows everyone out of the water, but he doesnt have anything to talk bout anymore
Being completely unbiased here:
From what I've heard Donda sounds more interesting. The highs on Donda are really really high. That said, the penmanship on display on tracks like 7am, Kanye is not capable of. I haven't gotten a chance to finish CLB yet I'll be back tonight, but some of those tracks in the beginning sound so uninspired. Picked up a lot around All I Need.

It's not just about bars, rapping about woman who left him etc holds no weight, especially at his age. I'd much rather hear impactful and sincere lyrics.
Not songs like I'm too sexy and I'm a lesbian too!.
Both are great projects.
At the moment I don’t think one is better than the other.
They both serve different sounds

So you boutta play the game where you specifically pick and choose what raps you heard

I'm speaking from what I prefer, never said ye more lyrical.

Honestly what verse on CLB memorable like Kanye on off the grid
Honestly what verse on CLB memorable like Kanye on off the grid
Literally, his verses actually stuck, can't pick out a single verse from CLB that made me want to go back and listen to it.
