He toured Days before Rodeo and Owl Pharoah on the Rodeo tour w/Thug dumbass nigga, just say you started listening to rap in 2015
Where did I say he didn’t you f***ing idiot
Where did I say he didn’t you f***ing idiot
You said he “TOURED Rodeo” when the album dropped a whole year after that tour lmaoo

It dropped 5 months after
It dropped 5 months after
And the only song on it from the setlist was Antitode

The point is doing backflips over your head nigga forget it

I’m telling you he didn’t perform any songs off of Rodeo on the Rodeo tour, actually not even Antitode cause that was a SoundCloud loosie to build hype after the tour.
So just cause Drake doesn’t do CLB songs doesn’t mean fans don’t love it.
And even after Rodeo dropped, he didn’t tour it but toured the album right after, which didn’t have Rodeo songs on the setlist.
So to circle back to the point, just cause it’s their most recent release has no correlation to what they perform on the stage or how highly regarded fan reception is
Bro dropped a whole dance album before a full on r&b or rap album like people have wanted him too but hey somehow he’s ruining his popularity… when he still sells more than everyone else in the worst era of sales
yea this is fair, almost every top artist is having the same issue of not being able to consistently make hits recently, it's definitely not just Drake

You’re failing to realize that Travis had numerous live performances and festival appearances in 2016 where he did perform numerous songs off of Rodeo.
The only song Drake has consistently performed from CLB on all of his live shows and festivals in the past 5 months is Way 2 Sexy, that’s not a coincidence

The nigga hasn’t even started the official tour for the 3 albums he dropped and you comparing it to Travis’ entire 2016
And I just looked it up and the only additional song off the two I mentioned he performed was Oh My Dis Side at 3 shows while he did 90% of Birds

He also did Maria I’m Drunk and 3500. That’s 5-6 songs off that album compared to Drake’s one that he’s consistently performing.
If the album was as “loved outside” as you said it is, he would be performing a lot more songs off it
stadium shows are awful. pay $400 to sit half a mile away from the stage and hear the bathrooms in the concourse better than the music. or spend $20k to be in “good seats” surrounded by boring rich ppl. thank u drake for not doing stadiums.
It’s crazy you really went 0/7 thinking you were coming in hot @op

Real tbh, nobody going to the tour trying to hear anything off CLB except Knife Talk
Yea this thread is entirely about numbers/popularity though, my point is he's making less accessible music than he was in 2016-2018 and that's causing his numbers to go down
on a personal level I actually love what he's doing musically still, altho I do miss him exploring other genres a lot more regularly and I definitely think his music is more serious now
The next real solo drake album that has a real rollout (similar to a CLB) will do 600K plus sales first week.
I agree with you, but making less accessible music is OK to do.

Stadium shows are great, makes it a spectacle
Also his Dreamville Fest set was basically a stadium performance (50K people) and it was incredible
Rapper wise he's still at the top for sure, but he used to be competing with all the big names outside rap, CLB didn't do that, neither did HNVM/Her Loss
olivia rodrigo shouldn't be smoking Drake with her debut album
Drake stopped playing industry games. He just releases music and dips

Which I am thankful for and I’m glad someone else sees the vision
