There’s a reason why majority ppl of 90s or 00s gangsta rap or trap still alive while major figures of drill are dead despite it being far more recent

I actually believe that some of the music and media today is bad for us in a more subtle way that encourages us to always rely on our base instincts and never on higher thought or spirituality, the 808s and content keeping you in the low chakra of base urges, sex, and wants. This is the ideal condition for capitalism to work on us because we’re all tired and looking for our next dopamine fix. Don’t question anything just get that fix, hear that beat drop, feel good. This is what’s being pushed underneath it all
