Nah this was incredible coming from someone who wasn’t even into the first one like that I’m officially a fan

I watched the first one again a few days prior to seeing this, and yea I can appreciate it a lot more. Also my first time viewing the film was on my tv with s*** speakers. I rewatched it in a home theater and it was a way better experience

every thing from him walking through the crowd like jesus to the end is perfect

i think if denis adds parts of the holy war to the story and moves some things around could be a really good movie

but if he adapts it as close as he did this book i would agree but i think the way part 2 end implies he will be making major changes at least adding a whole act at the start or something imo

dune messiah is like just an epilogue, lot he could do with it

Feel like that might be why they've started development so early now, makes sense if they still plan on releasing it further out in a few years

could picture them filming some scenes right after part 2's ending & then maybe taking a break in production to allow a time gap/letting the actors age a little

but at the same time who knows, they might maybe skip the time gap altogether the way they did with Part 2

yeah that's the same way I'm feeling to

like the holy war its self could make some good action scenes and hook people into the other planets/houses of the universe

you could even start it off more glorious and righteous but then by the end of the movie show him losing control of it and the rest of the plot

plus i think chani will come back to paul idk how but i can't imagine them ending them plus chani dying in child birth would be pretty tragic to not do and you can't do any of the future books really without the twins

he even says "she'll come around i've seen it"

alia is 12-16 in dune messiah if it follows the book but she seems older in the flashback, I mean paul is 15-18 in dune so ages really are prob a bit diff in the movies. i wonder if we'll get to see alia be born and then flash forward to her being older later on
