In the grand scheme of things this is true.
I love Earl but I don't care if somebody doesn't listen to him. However the last thing I wanna see is ppl citing f***ing DJ Khaled.
His fat ass called somebody who outsold him the mysterious one and his whole album was forgotten in less than a week. Like???

First week sales are emphasized by labels because they want the fastest return on investment possible.

But 7.6k? S*** how much money would that make him
Most artists get a vast majority of their music from touring, advertisement, and merchandise. Earl toured and has a clothing line so he’s probably eating well regardless
Also NPR & a few other stations licensed Riot! To be played sometimes based on personal experience and that’s a bag in itself
