More like crackhead music, y'know, music you hear when you ride past the crackhouse?

People who jerk off to sales data are weirdos

like who would've thought, Earl who shuns mainstream attention and lurks the underground scene and experiments with his music would sell big numbers

I personally f*** with his music but it's the literal opposite of accessible s***

He needs to make his wave more accessible to drake tier mfs

It'll be the end of him if he does.

Imagine Earl in a trendy fit begging for memes over a warmed over Pierre beat

  • Nov 13, 2019

Funniest post this year for me

    True

I'm wondering where his career can go. Hopefully he makes it work long term

Just went to an Earl show not long ago, still was packed, that's where the actual money is anyway, not streams

Earl Sweatshirt’s new EP ‘Feet Of Clay’ debuts at #102 on the Billboard 200 chart selling 7.6k first week

    Your thoughts?

Another flop on his books. He might sell 15k if he can relearn how to f***ing rap on topic and beat again.

Say what you want but despite the immature and violent lyrics on EARL, that was the most focused and coherent he EVER sounded..

Idk what happened to his flow but I wonder if he experimented with LSD after Samoa because that stuff permanently improves or f***s up a person's creativity. Just look at asap Rocky.

Post Samoa was dope for while. He was much more lyrical though off topic but IDLS is when it seemed like something changed in him

I've seen a lot of artists and rappers who seem to have a permanent "awakening" after using LSD. Usually it's good but I've seen many who change in a bad way. People say you can't overdose on it but your mind is permanently changed after it for sure.

That's my favorite Earl album lol and you're right tho, he produced that whole album so it was 100% his mind on that one, dark and hazy

Did he ever reveal he was depressed at the time or something? I know his father passed but that was until recently I think.

Yeah that album was about his pops being absent, his grandma passing and a recent breakup I think

Exactly. I don't use any d**** because I love my mind just the way it functions now but if I ever wanted to hallucinate it would be something I know for sure isn't going to permanently change me.

Syd just wanted to live out of the spotlight for the rest of his life and who can blame him?? He was manipulated by his own band, first they kicked him out even though he was the founder and then purposefully made him sound crazy on his debut album that they produced bc they were aware of his talent and saw him as a threat!! This is a well known story and you can see it in his documentary film. Also it was still a classic album that KILLS most of their discog.
